Patients finally breathing a sigh of relief after Punjab government on Thursday agreed to meet conditions set by the young doctors.The young doctors across province went on strike last week on the call of Young Doctors Association, Punjab Chapter demanding the government to take back transfer orders of their colleagues and immediately revise service structure for the doctors serving under the Punjab government.During strike, all OPDs in government hospitals remained shut causing immense hardships for the patients.Taking notice of the issue, Punjab government retracted the transfer orders and formed a committee to review service structure for the doctors.According to details, the committee will present report on service structure within a month.
