Summary Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif said loadshedding would be ended within three years if PML-N came to power.
While addressing a public gathering at the residence of ex-provincial minister Arshad Lodhi in Harappa, Shahbaz Sharif said that rulers talking about Saraiki bank have nothing to do with the issues of people; rather their ‘mission’ is looting and plundering in the name of progress and prosperity.He said that rulers already have looted billions of rupees from the Punjab Bank and the National Bank. The people have become fully aware of merits and demerits; so they no longer can be made fool, he said.He regretted that about nine billion dollars are being spent annually on Rental Power Plants and despite this, industrial and agriculture sectors particularly in Punjab have destroyed.He said that the rulers who committed forgery and fraud with pilgrims, involved in fertilizers scandals are not well-wishers to the people.He also criticised the Federal Government as it has made the Chichoki Mallian and Naddipur power plants limited to the file works.Shahbaz Sharif also announced welfare and development projects for the people of city with the assurance that they would not be let alone at the mercy of corrupt rulers.
