Summary Loadshedding duration has increased with electricity shortfall standing at 5200mw.
According to PEPCO, presently 10,428 megawatts of electricity were being generated while the demand had soared to 15,628MW.The shortfall increased due to the inadequate supply of money, oil to the company and als due to shortage of water at the two main hydel power stations of Tarbela and Mangla where it had reached the dead level.Moreover, the load shedding in the residential areas have reached around 12 hours which caused great problems for the residents of the city.
