Second trailer released for upcoming Brad Pitt film 'Ad Astra'
Pitt plays an astronaut in the movie, who is sent to outer space to look for his father
(REUTERS) - The second trailer has dropped for the upcoming space mystery "Ad Astra" starring Brad Pitt in the lead role.
The movie, scheduled for release in mid-September, is directed by James Gray ("Two Lovers" and "The Lost City of Z") and also stars Liv Tyler, Ruth Negga and Donald Sutherland.
Pitt plays an astronaut in the movie, who is sent to outer space to look for his father.
His father, played by Tommy Lee Jones, disappeared during a mission that is said to have been aimed at finding advanced extraterrestrial life but also experimented with material threatening the entire solar system.
The film is due to be released in the United Kingdom on September 18 and the United States on September 20, 2019.
