(Web Desk) - Alia Bhatt’s mother the 62 yrs old veteran actor who is currently working in the movie ‘No fathers in Kashmir  was slammed for her comments of wanting to enjoy a meal in Pakistan.

During an interview, the actress spoke about the Kashmir issue between India and Pakistan and openly concluded that people will now call her a traitor and would tell her to move to Pakistan, she also despised the notion that India is becoming a non-inclusive Hindu state.

‘When I talk like this, people start calling me anti-national and want to send me to Pakistan. Sometimes I wonder, I should really go to Pakistan as I’ll be much happier there. As it is the food is also good that side. Here, people are after me and want to make me run away. However, there are so many people who share the same thoughts as me, and thus, it hardly makes any difference to me what people have to say about me,’ she added.

After the flak she faced for her comments she took to twitter to respond to the haters stating, none seem bothered when our PM makes a stop in Pakistan for tea but my comments for wanting a meal there gets many flustered.

‘Aww flattered to get all this attention from these lovely people. Who seem to be so hot and bothered about me going to Pak for a meal. Just taking a cue from our PM actually who pops in there for tea smtimes ! Sry to disappoint but no intention of moving. I love my India too much,’ she added.
