#MeToo whirlpool encircles Bollywood's Favorite 'Sanskari' BabuJi AlokNath
Nanda accused the veteran TV and Film actor Alok Nath with rape allegations.
(WebDesk) – A tide of #MeToo accelerates momentum after the former Bollywood star Tanushree Dutta alleges the veteran Nana Patekar and director Vivek Agnihotri with sexual harassment allegations.
Only when the female journalist took to the twitter to clear the dust from the past occurrence and validated the reality behind Tanushree Dutta’s accusations, many of the Indian women including top notch female journalists, actresses, models, writers and women from all walks of life are sharing their horrible experiences due to sexual maltreatment and harassments.

In a recent turn of events on the momentum, another shocking revelation is surfaced which lands the Indian TV and film Industry most favorite, esteemed and appreciated On-Screen father, grand Father and uncle into hot waters. Former director, writer and producer of Indian Television of late 90s Vinta Nanda recently took to face book and made a scandalous post.
The post shared the details of the happenings which compelled Nanda to wrap her career along with her production company.
Nanda accused the veteran TV and Film actor Alok Nath with rape allegations.
The shocking post within minutes took the media by storm with such high-level finger pointing towards the respected and appreciated father figure of Indian Film Screen. Filmmaker Vinta Nanda called out the heavyweight ‘Bollywood BabuJi’ Alok Nath a sexual harasser, obnoxious and hateful in his demeanor.

She alleged that he had raped her in her home also sexually harassed a lead actress of 1990s TV show ‘Tara’ – still a renowned female artist Navneet Nishan who also have vindicated the accusations of Nanda. According to Nanda, Alok Nath also sexually harassed Navneet who was then the lead actress of the most popular soap ‘Tara’ and when she declined all his unjustifiable demands, he seized the opportunity to molest her on screen. When he failed in all his attempts, he managed to get the Tara lead – Navneet Nishan sacked after she complained overtly.
Nanda in her post went on with the details about the ‘Sanskari BabuJi’ of Indian TV and Film Industry who made her faint with liquor and offered her to drop at home where he had taken the advantage of her unconsciousness.
Recounting the harrowing memories, Nanda added, “I can remember more liquor being poured into my mouth and I remember being violated endlessly. When I woke up the next afternoon, I was in pain. I hadn’t just been raped, I was taken to my own house and had been brutalised.” Nanda also added that as a consequence, she had to cancel all her TV shows and shut down her production company.
ALOKNATH NEITHER DEBY NOR AGREES WITH THE RAPE ACCUSATIONS LEVELLED BY VINTA NANDA
Bollywood was shaken with the allegations. Nanda’s post is taking rounds on internet. Alok Nath has addressed these allegations now, calling them absurd.
The actor talking to an Indian news channel said, “Neither am I denying this nor do I would agree with it. It (rape) must have happened, but someone else would have done it. Well, I do not want to talk much about it or it will be stretched.” Nath, in his reaction, was rude and full of himself and said haters often like to damage the image and he would not made any further comment on this.
NAVNEET NISHAN LENDS SUPPORT TO NANDA AND VALIDATES HER NARRATIVE AGANIST NATH
Tara’s lead Navneet Nishan extends her support to Vinta Nanda and said, “I empathise with Vinta for the terrible pain she has gone through; it is unimaginable. I dealt with the four year harassment by slapping the man in question and it is done and dusted. “l suffered the loss of the show and was further shamed by the man through media and I endured that. I fought my battles there and then. I am immensely glad that the power trip and sexual dominance coming from this power is being called out. It is high time,” she stated.
In her statement given to an Indian TV, Navneet Nishan said: "I support every woman and man who is standing up for herself/himself in the #MeToo movement. THE SNOWBALL EFFECT OF #METOO IN INDIA IS GROWING BIG AND BIG
This new wave of #MeToo in India while scratching the old wounds that had never stopped bleeding inside due to deliberate silence and fear of being abandoned by society, has now been paving the way to expose the male-dominance in a patriarchal society of the thousands years old civilization.
In another #MeToo snowball advancement, a clutch of female journalists accused a minister in Narendra Modi’s government, a well-known veteran editor, of sexual harassment. The women took to Twitter to allege how M.J. Akbar, now a junior foreign minister, conducted job interviews and meetings in fancy hotel rooms and made sexual advances when they were starting out in the media.
Many women in India have in recent days taken to social media to out sexual predators, emboldening others to come out with their experiences. Bollywood figures, stand-up comedians and other top journalists have all found themselves accused of abusing their positions to behave improperly towards women.
The trigger appeared to be actress Tanushree Dutta, who has accused well-known Bollywood actor Nana Patekar of inappropriate behaviour on a film set 10 years ago. On Monday, the political editor of the leading Hindustan Times daily quit amid swirling allegations of sexual misconduct.
