Instead of 'Me too', 'You too', campaign needs to be launched: Shilpa Shetty
Shilpa said that every woman should speak up without any fear regarding harassment.
MUMBAI (Dunya News) – Indian veteran actress Shilpa Shetty has said that “Instead of “Me too”, “You too”, campaign needs to be launched.”
She explained that using the phrase “Me too” creates an impression that it was all woman’s mistake and she was the victim too. However, if the words “You too” will be used, then males will be considered guilty because it will make them realize about the fact that like all other males, they have also enlisted themselves among the ones who harass women.
The actress, while supporting Tanushree Dutta said that every woman should speak up without any fear regarding harassment incidents they happened to go through.
She also shared about her relation with a boy during college days which ended afterwards.
Surprisingly, Shilpa Shetty also revealed last week after 9 years of her married life that she remained in relationship with Salman Khan too in the past.
