Summary Preity Zinta has slammed reports of her arrest warrant after failing to pay writer Abbas Tyrewala.
MUMBAI (Web Desk) - The Bollywood actor is reported to have been issued with a non-bailable arrest warrant over an alleged bounced check.
"Dear Media, please investigate stories involving celebrities properly before being in a rush to carry it for TRP as you re indulging in defamation," Zinta tweeted on Saturday (September 14).
The Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna actor went on to add that the media had not printed her clarification of the situation.
She wrote: "Surprisingly I have not seen my statements made to the press any where and it s sad how any news is news today irrespective of the truth."
Zinta s cheque for 18.9 lakh was not honoured by the bank following the commercial failure of Ishqk In Paris, her first movie as a producer.
