KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Navy Investiture Ceremony 2026 was held at Bahria Auditorium in Karachi today, bringing together senior military leadership, serving officers, veterans and families to recognise distinguished service within the naval force.
The ceremony was graced by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, who attended as the chief guest and conferred a range of prestigious military honours upon Pakistan Navy personnel. The awards were presented in recognition of exceptional performance, dedication and distinguished services rendered by members of the force across different ranks and categories.

Held in a formal setting marked by military traditions and ceremonial protocol, the event recognised the contributions of officers, Chief Petty Officers (CPOs), sailors and civilian personnel serving under the Pakistan Navy framework.
Among the honours conferred during the event were the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) and Tamgha-i-Khidmat awards. In addition, Chief of Naval Staff Commendation Letters were also presented to personnel for their professional achievements and dedicated service..
The Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) remains among Pakistan’s notable military distinctions and is awarded to personnel for meritorious services of a high order. The Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) recognises distinguished contributions, while the Tamgha-i-Khidmat honours long and dedicated service within the armed forces.
Recipients represented a broad spectrum of naval personnel, highlighting the operational and administrative roles that collectively support the Pakistan Navy’s functions. The inclusion of civilian employees among the awardees also reflected the contribution of non-uniformed staff members working across various sectors of the naval establishment.
