Bilawal makes victory sign as PPP delegation wraps up meeting with Fazl

Mohsin Naqvi meets JUI-F chief, gives him PM’s important message

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A series of meetings from the Opposition and the coalition government with JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman continued late Saturday night as both parties were making utmost efforts to get the support of the JUI-F chief on the issue of constitutional amendment bill to be tabled on Sunday (today) in the National Assembly and Senate.

Earlier, PTI’s delegation called on Maulana at his residence. Later, PPP’s delegation comprising PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Mayor Murtaza Wahab and Ejaz Jakhrani held meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

More importantly Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was also present in the meeting with a crucial message of Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif.

JUI-F delegation was comprised of Assad Mahmood, Aslam Ghori, Kamran Murtaza and Mir Usman.

PPP Ejaz Jakhrani says PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari discussed constitutional amendment bill with the JUI-F. To a question, Bilawal Bhutto said, “Hope is everything. World is based on hope.”

JUI-F Kamran Murtaza has said the party needs time to take decision, adding, “The government has presented suggestions on the constitutional amendment bill.

We need time to reach the conclusion. We will consult with our Shoora and legal team. Some of the government’s suggestions are good.” 

Earlier, The PTI delegation comprising Assad Qaiser, Umer Ayub, Hamid Raza, Barrister Gohar and Shibli Faraz called on Maulana Fazlur Rehman and held a talk on the bill, and tried to court him for their efforts against passage of the bill.

Though detail of the huddle has not been revealed, PTI leader Barrister Gohar said the party delegation was satisfied with Maulana, adding, “The dialogue was held in good atmosphere. We have good relations with Maulana Fazlur Rehman. God will do better.”

“I came to the house of Maulana first time. Look at my face. I am very happy to meet the JUI-F chief, said Sahibzada Hamid Raza.
