'World's smallest mobile phone' Zanco Tiny T1 up for campaign
The Kickstarter campaign for the 'world's smallest mobile phone' has gathered over USD 60,000
(Web Desk) – A Kickstarter campaign for the mobile phone named Zanco Tiny T1 which claimed to the world’s smallest model has caught the eye of people as several thousands of dollars have been collected for its release.
People have pledged over USD 60,000 for the Tiny T1. It had the goal to reach only USD 33,480 which it did easily. It will formally start operations of manufacturing soon.
The iconic Zanco model is being released in the era when people are demanding bigger phones with touch screen. Tiny T1 relies on the primary features like calling and texting for its sales.
The phone is claimed to be smaller than thumbs and lighter than coins. It has alphanumeric keyboard for which it is called talk and text phone.
With just 13 grams weight and 46.7x21x12mm dimensions, Tiny T1 has compatibility with single Nano SIM card.
There are several setbacks of the tiny phone and memory is one of them. It has the ability to store a maximum of 300 contacts and 50 text messages. It can only keep track of the last 50 incoming or outgoing numbers in the log.
It is supported with 200mAh battery and 32MB RAM with no internet option. There is connectivity only through 2G, Micro-USB and Bluetooth.
The phone will be up for sale through shipping by next year for around EUR 30 (PKR 3,934).
