Opposition parties react to PM's address to the nation
PM should resign: Bilawal; Nawaz Sharif suffering from 'Imran-phobia': PTI
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Reacting to the Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s address to the nation on Friday in regards to the Panama Leaks’ investigation, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated that the PM should present himself before the Parliament and explain his position, reported Dunya News.
Bilawal tweeted that the PM should act upon his own advice and should resign. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Naeemul Haque reacting upon the PM’s address stated that the PM’s assets that were brought forward through the Panama Leaks were the ones that were never uploaded on the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) website. He added that the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif’s measures against corruption have badly shaken the PM and that during the address “the PM seemed to be under great influence of Imran Khan-phobia”.

Naeemul Haque said that the PM neither discussed anything in regards to the authorities granted to the investigation commission nor did he mention that how much time will the Chief Justice (CJ) take to probe into the assets of the Sharif family.
PM has lost it! In his address to nation instead of clearing confusion & contradictory statements on his assets he wailed away! 1/3

Political parties of the country declare the decision of the PM to form a judicial commission as the victory of the public and that of their joint stance.
PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi states that the PM was forced to write a letter to the CJ because of the pressure placed him through the unity of the opposition parties.
Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirjul Haq has also hailed the PM s announcement as the people s victory and has pleaded the Chief Justice not to leave the country as he has to attend a conference in Turkey in the coming days. PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan has challenged the PM in regards to his stance about payment of taxes.
Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rasheed has predicted that the PM will address the nation for a third time at the end of the month.
