Earlier, PTI chairman Imran Khan had said that he would not vote for anybody in the election

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervez Khattak on Friday has confessed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPAs have cast votes to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate on technocrat seat in the Senate Election 2015.

PTI MPAs voted for PML-N’s Javed Abbasi which is why he got at least 40 votes. PML-N returned the favour by voting for PTI candidate on woman seat and minority seat. Earlier, PTI chairman Imran Khan had said that he would not vote for anybody in the election.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Khanzada Khan got as many as nine votes with help of alliance with Awami National Party (ANP) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI). Qaumi Watan Party’s (QWP) Amaar Ahmed Khan got eight votes while the total number of QWP is ten.
