Government is trying to rig by-elections, people are getting hired in WAPDA as bribe: Azam Swati

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Nomination papers of Azam Swati and Ghulam Ali for senate’s seat, have been approved on Thursday. Senate seat was vacant after the death of senior senator Azam Hoti.

Azam Swati accused the federal government for trying to rig by-elections. He said that thousands of people are getting employed in WAPDA as bribe.

Ghulam Ali said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is not a proper political party and it is not hard to get 9 votes from such a party.

Azam Swati is provincial president of PTI while Ghulam Ali is leader of Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam-Fazal.
