The film promotion is at its peak right now. The film’s song Ghoomar attained limelight straight after its release on YouTube during Oct 25, 2017. The song stars Deepika dancing while wearing a heavy ‘ghagra’. She flaunts her dress despite the struggle to move in such a traditional outfit.

The appearance of all three Deepika, Ranveer and Shahid is worth praise as well. Bhansali has tried to recreate and dramatise the scenes in his Rani Padmavati biopic. The roles assigned to the mega cast include Deepika as Rani Padmavati, Shahid as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer as Alauddin Khalji.
Within three days on YouTube, Ghoomar has reached 21,670,370 views. Fans are praising the set design, cinematography and dance moves. The song features Rani Nagmati (Anupriya Goenka) as first wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh (Shahid Kapoor). The film is scheduled to release on December 1.
