Udta Punjab star Shahid Kapoor injured while Padmavati shooting
The 36-year-old actor injured his ankles for shooting action-packed scenes
(Web Desk) – Shahid Kapoor has injured his ankles while shooting for an action scene at the sets of his upcoming film Padmavati, according to Indian reports.
The 36-year-old is known to give his best performance in every movie. He was lauded for his acting skills in Udta Punjab, Rangoon, Haider, and others. This time, he went all in to serve his extreme professionalism and went too far that his ankles got injured.
While doing stunts and action scenes, Shahid didn t realise that his ankles got swollen up. For perfection, the actor demanded to reshoot the scenes and it occupied a lot time and energy. The production team told that they were behind the schedule so Shahid had to do a number of scenes in a quick succession. Meeting deadlines can be hard in Bollywood when everyone in the cast and crew has their own schedule of films to work in.
The crew members have praised Shahid s professionalism as he went an extra mile due to incoming deadline. Audiences will be happy with his role and he has played the character very well, said an inside crew member.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie is not ready yet and it is expected to release in December, 2017. Deepika Padukone is starring opposite Shahid, and will play the role of Rani Padmini. The cast also includes Aditi Rao Hydari and Ranveer Singh. Both the unique looks of Shahid and Deepika were unveiled on social media and the fans have associated high expectations from the movie.
