WASHINGTON (Dunya News) - US President Donald Trump warned Oman that it could face an attack if it interfered with US efforts in the Strait of Hormuz.

In an interview with US media, Trump claimed that his administration had established a channel for direct backchannel communications with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Trump said the United States still had extensive weapons stockpiles, adding that the amount of weaponry used by Washington so far was negligible.

The US president said the United States also had a large number of medium-range weapons available.

Trump had previously threatened Oman with an attack in May.
