SP leader and lawmaker Mulayam Singh Yadav declared China the real enemy, not Pakistan

(Web Desk) – Former Indian Defence Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav said Wednesday in Lok Sabha (parliament) that the troops from neighbouring state China are ready to attack India, adding that their real enemy is China, not Pakistan.

He predicted a joint attack from Chinese and Pakistani forces, suggesting the regime of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to review Tibet policy. Yadav claimed Chinese soldiers had made their way into the Pakistan Army across the Line of Control in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He called for a reprimand on diplomatic level to these concerns.

During the assembly session, Yadav stated that India faces danger from China, he has been warning governments for many years but none of them paid adequate heed, claiming an alliance between China and Pakistan to prepare attack on Indian soil. China is the biggest opponent and the Chinese army has joined hands with the Pak Army, he affirmed according to reports.

The Indian lawmaker went on to claim presence of Chinese nuclear weapons in Pakistan which ‘Indian intelligence agencies know better’. He blamed Indian National Congress leader and former PM Jawaharlal Nehru for being the root cause of Tibet issue with China.

India is responsible to protect Tibet independence and Bhutan, and supporting Dalai Lama, he mentioned while denouncing import of Chinese goods.

Yadav currently belongs to Samajwadi Party (SP) and served as the Indian defence minister from 1996 to 1998. He is known to criticise the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and cooperation between the two allies.
