Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that Iran is a sovereign state and it does not depend on others to run its affairs.

Addressing the 32nd anniversary of Iranian revolution, Ahmadinejad said that being a sovereign state Iran does not need anyone’s permission to carry on its nuclear programme. He said that revolution was a great thing that happened to Iran. A large crowed, holding banners in favour of revolution, gathered at the independence Square, despite heavy downpour and snow falling. The eleven-day celebrations of Iranian revolution were started on February one.
