New branch of Pakistani restaurant 'Dera' opens in NY's Manhattan

NEW YORK (Dunya News) – A new branch of Pakistani restaurant ‘Dera’ has been inaugurated in New York’s Manhattan city.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Consul General of Pakistan Raja Ali Ejaz, community leader Shahid Gondal, Nadeem Kiyani, Muhammad Asif and several other people.

The restaurant was inaugurated by Shahid Gondal.



The attendees congratulated the owner Saif Nagra and wished him success in future.

“I congratulate Saif Nagra and my Pakistani brothers over the restaurant’s opening. The place not only displays the soft image of Pakistan but the renowned cuisine of the country is also being promoted abroad,” said Raja Ali Ejaz.

“I and my family congratulate Saif and pray that his restaurant finds utmost success and his business flourish,” pronounced Shahid Gondal.



Saif Nagra expressed pleasure over Pakistani community’s support and best wishes.

“I thank Pakistani community for attending the opening and giving confidence to me. I will serve the people in Manhattan in the same way as I did in Jackson Heights,” asserted Nagra.



Renowned dhol player Muhammad Boota also performed at the ceremony.
