Woman breaks husband's fingers over his intention to marry again
(Web Desk) – A court in United Arab Emirates (UAE) has sentenced a 25-year-old woman to six months in jail for fracturing her husband’s fingers over his intention to marry another woman.
A scuffle broke out between the couple when the husband told his wife that he wanted to marry again. The woman beat up the husband and broke his fingers. The man also slapped her on her ear, causing a hearing impairment estimated at 2 per cent.
The wife reported that she was surprised after her husband told that he would not fulfill her marital rights anymore.
The doctors told, “The wife’s medical report revealed that she sustained multiple bruises on the forehead, nose, neck and chest, as well as a punctured hole in the left eardrum and a slight deformation of the nasal septum that required treatment for a period of more than twenty days.”
The doctors while informing about the husband’s medical report, stated, “He sustained a fracture in the fourth and fifth fingers of the right hand with a 3-cm-long wound in the scalp (forehead), causing a permanent disability estimated at 2 percent.”
