The 40-year-old New Yorker said he came up with the idea after deciding that he wanted to do something incredibly light and playful. The balloon artist started off as a street performer where he used to make the sort of balloon animals typically seen at childrens parties, but over the past 25 years theyve developed into the Airigami he now specializes in.Each of his pieces - which take scenes from stories like Jack and the Beanstalk, The Three Little Pigs, and Little Red Riding Hood - can use hundreds of balloons. Other fairy tales given the balloon treatment include The Pied Piper, Goldilocks and The Three Bears, The Frog Prince, and The Princess and The Pea.
