GANSU, CHINA (Web Desk) – Conjoined twins born in China s Gansu province were separated successfully by the doctors.
The girls were born attached at the chest and abdomen.
A medical team comprising of eight surgeons successfully separated the twins after a three-hour operation, which was first of its kind in the region.

The twin girls are then swaddled in blankets and handed to their parents to cuddle.
According to doctors, both the girls are recovering speedily.
Before this, eight-day-old conjoined twins were separated in Switzerland.
