(Web Desk) - Microsoft is rolling out its AI-powered Microsoft Office features to consumers with the introduction of Copilot Pro.

Just two months after its initial launch for businesses, Copilot Pro grants users access to AI-enhanced functionalities within Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint available today as a $20 monthly subscription,.

Subscribers also enjoy priority access to the latest OpenAI models and the opportunity to create their own Copilot GPT.

For existing Microsoft 365 Personal or Home subscribers, an additional $20 per month per person unlocks Copilot in Office apps on Mac, Windows, and iPad.

The Copilot Pro features encompass the ability to generate comprehensive PowerPoint slide decks through a chatbot-like interface, as well as integrated Copilot experiences in Word for paraphrasing paragraphs, generating text, and summarizing documents.

Copilot extends its functionality to Outlook.com, aiding users in crafting responses to emails or generating new ones. Moreover, a preview version is available in Excel, offering capabilities to analyze data, generate graphs, and perform various other tasks.

This move demonstrates Microsoft's commitment to bringing advanced AI capabilities to a broader consumer audience.

While consumers gain access to a range of advanced AI capabilities within Word, Excel, and PowerPoint through Copilot Pro, the Graph technology limitation temporarily restricts the seamless transition of document content to presentation slides.

Microsoft aims to bridge this gap in functionality as it continues to enhance Copilot for consumer users, providing a glimpse into the evolving landscape of AI-powered productivity tools for a broader user base.
