(Web Desk) - Microsoft's co-founder Bill Gates predicts that a system will swallow the lives of millions of people in the world.
In future, Gates said, artificial intelligence would be included in everyday life and would have detrimental effects. In his previous statements he had expressed his viewpoint on this issue how Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology would affect the labour market.
Gates explained in his recent statement that how governments could use this technology for wrongdoing, mentioning that AI could herald disasters like Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
"Possibility is there that a country will gain atomic power with the help of AI," he said, adding that the technology could also be used for cyber-attacks against other countries.
Every country strives to have the power to deter attacks by its enemies and this can lead to an increase in the dangerous cyber arms race, he added.
The richest man of the world cautioned that lives of hundreds of thousands of people would be in danger if the AI technology continued to develop advanced cyber weapons and systems.
