Notoriously secretive, Afghanistan-based militant troupe saw its information network disrupted as email accounts, websites, and mobile phones connected to the organization began spreading false reports that its leader, Mullah Omar, had been killed.The militant Islamist group blames United States for this cyber attack. The terrorist group has been pretty sensitive to modern technology. Documents released in the past show warnings to the members of the group not to reveal their location data. The cyber attack on the information network of Taliban has led the group to threaten its regional phone service providers for cooperating with western forces.Internet is becoming another frontline to the change in war on terror. The officials did not comment on the allegation brought up by the Taliban groups about the cyber attack.
