Oppo launches new smartphone with 6-inch bezel-less display in Pakistan
OPPO F5, priced at PKR 31,899, will go on sale from November 11 with Sarfraz Ahmed as guest manager
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Smartphone company OPPO is set to introduce its latest model F5 with a launch on November 11 where Pakistani captain Sarfraz Ahmed and pacer Hasan Ali will be the One day Celebrity Shop Managers. The company has appointed Indian actor Sidharth Malhotra as the new brand ambassador in addition to Deepika Padukone.
The features include OPPO’s Color OS 3.2, together with 4G RAM + 32GB ROM memory. It has a triple slot tray that supports two nano cards and one TF card simultaneously. The Octa-core CPU processor uses less energy, produces less heat while giving a higher performance speed.
F5 has facial unlock feature which can recognize its user and unlock the phone through face as in Apple s Face ID. It supports fingerprint unlock as well.
The AI Beauty technology will customize beautify based on one’s features from skin, eyes, lips, to face shape. The feature will also have personalization for specific subjects. For example, enhancements will not be soft or feminine for male subjects. Children or babies will not receive enhancements that make them look like adults.
OPPO F5 is installed with a 20MP front camera with an ultra-sensitive F2.0 aperture and 1/2.8” sensor. Both features allow the camera to gain more information to produce better images with less noise in low light conditions. The front-camera Portrait mode also applies a Bokeh effect to the background, creating better gradation and making you the focus of the selfie shot, every time. On the other hand, the rear camera of 16MP has F1.8 aperture that can give brighter and more precise shots in darker settings.
The F5 battery life is upgraded with 3200Ah battery having continuous optimizing technology which manages the apps running on the device, allowing the user up to 12 hours of continuous use.
It has file sharing technology called O-share which is claimed to be 100 times faster than Bluetooth. It can transfer 8 to 10 pictures (3MB each) between OPPO phones within 1 second. With Split Screen feature, users can do multi-tasking.
