Argentinian players had made inappropriate gestures after World Cup Final victory against France

ZURICH (Web Desk) - The disciplinary committee of Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) is taking action against Messi s side because of violation of conduct by celebrating their triumph over France in the World Cup final in Qatar.

FIFA has reportedly agreed to punish Argentina, according to media reports. It should be mentioned that Argentina defeated France 2-4 in the World Cup final which was decided by penalty shots.

During the celebration in the locker room following the conclusion of the final ceremony, Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, who had just won the Golden Glove Award for Best Goalkeeper made an inappropriate gesture with the trophy. He also made fun of French footballer Kylian Mbappe, who had won the Golden Boot Award, by saying that "Mbappe who died."

Not only that, but Messi, the Argentina captain and a teammate of Mbappe s at French club PSG, was there as Martinez carried a doll with Mbappe s face cut out during the team s victory parade.

According to a statement from FIFA, the disciplinary committee has started proceedings against the Argentine Football Association for breaking the rules of conduct during the World Cup final between players and officials.
