Former world number one golfer forced to withdraw from the championship due to knee injury.

Tiger Woods limped out of the Players Champions after completing just nine holes due to knee injury. It was his third withdrawal from a tournament this season.Before this, he also withdrew from the US Open and Augusta Open golf championships. He also remained away from the game for some time in the last season due to neck injury.
