Pakistan will face India in SAF Games hockey final today
Pakistan will face arch rivals India in the final of SAF Games hockey in Guwahati today.
GUWAHATI (Dunya News) – Asian hockey giants Pakistan and India will meet in the final of the men s hockey event of the 12th South Asian Games in Guwahati, India today (Friday).
Pakistan will start as favourites as they remained unbeaten in the tournament so far. The Green Shirts registered a comprehensive 2-1 win over hosts in group stages and also won their matches against minnows Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
The match between the two arch-rivals will start at 7:30pm PST.
Pakistan will be looking for a hat-trick of titles in the Games. The Green Shirts had beaten India in both the 2004 and 2010 finals in Colombo and Dhaka, respectively.
