Summary Assures refugees of sending them to Afghanistan in dignified manners
KHYBER (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi on Saturday visited Landi Kotal Afghan holding camp and reviewed arrangements.
The CM expressed satisfaction over facilities and arrangements at the camp and said Afghan refugees were being sent in a dignified manner.
Speaking to the media, Sohail Afridi said Afghan refugees remain ‘our guests and we will ensure their return with honour and dignity.’
Sohail Afridi said the provincial government is making every effort to provide all facilities to the refugees. The performance of the Khyber district administration is commendable for the excellent arrangements made in the holding camp.
The CM said despite the pressure on the camps, every possible relief is being provided to Afghan families. The Landi Kotal holding camp has 20 registration points, which will be increased to 40.
Sohail Afridi said more steps will be taken to make the registration process faster and easier, adding that the dignified return of Afghan refugees is the government's top priority.
