ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson condemned the increasing Israeli aggression in the Middle East, urging de-escalation and resolution of ongoing conflicts.
In a statement, Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch expressed concern over the rising tension in the region, particularly the recent Israeli attack on Lebanon, which has further aggravated the situation.
Pakistan reiterated that Israel’s actions violate international law and UN Charter, creating a sever humanitarian crisis and endangering regional peace.
Pakistan also reaffirmed its call for a two-state solution as the key to lasting peace in the Middle East.
She said the people of Palestine, Lebanon, and the wider region deserve to live free from fear and violence.
Baloch said Pakistan reiterates its call for the UN Security Council to uphold peace and security in the region, safeguard Lebanon's sovereignty, and put an end to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
