Aliya Hamza's interim bail extended in controversial tweet case

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A local court of Islamabad on Thursday extended the interim bail of PTI leader Aliya Hamza in the controversial tweet case.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Afzal Majoka heard the petition seeking interim bail of Aliya Hamza. She appeared in court with her lawyers.
Hamza's lawyers requested court to extend her interim bail till next week as they needed more time to prepare the case.
"Final arguments on the bail plea will be presented on next hearing," said her lawyers.
The court extended the bail of Alia Hamza till Sept 23 and adjourned the hearing.
