ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has rejected National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq’s decision to suspend the membership of PTI MNA Sanaullah Mastikhel.

The PTI has called its parliamentary meeting before the National Assembly session on Sunday (today).

PTI Barrister Gauhar said, “We strongly condemn the speaker's decision. We will protest inside and outside the House against the Speaker's decision.

We will decide our plan of action for the rest of the budget session in the parliamentary party meeting.”

The PTI chairman said Sanaullah Mastikhel’s words was a slip of the tongue, adding the party wanted to expose the real face of the government in the House, but its members were not allowed to speak on the point of objection.

“It is not our way. Sanaullah Mastikhel condemned the words and was ready to seek apology.

Earlier, MNA Tariq Cheema had used offensive words against our female MNA. We requested the speaker to suspend his membership for three days,” the PTI chairman said.

These are very important legislative days. We said that Sanaullah Mastikhel should not be suspended for the entire session but our words were not accepted, he said.
