Gilani arrives in Maldives to attend SAARC summit

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has arrived in Maldives to attend the SAARC summit.

Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani arrived in capital city of Male to attend two-day SAARC conference. President of Maldives received him. A salute of 21-cannons presented to the PM Gilani and national anthems of both the countries were played. The prime minister also reviewed the guard of honour.Prime Minister Gilani will meet with the heads of states of different countries including India, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bhutan Earlier, foreign ministers of Pakistan and India had met to discuss the agenda of upcoming meeting of prime ministers of both the countries ahead of SAARC conference. Terrorism will be on top of the agenda of the meeting. Pakistani foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar told the media that confidence between both the countries is restoring.
