PM Kakar acknowledges China's stance opposing G20 summit in occupied Kashmir

 

NEW YORK (Dunya News) - Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar and Chinese Vice President Han Zheng discussed bilateral relations, and economic matters including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) during a meeting held in New York.

 

Prime Minister Kakar appreciated China's consistent support for regional integrity, autonomy, and socioeconomic development.

PM Kakar acknowledged China's principled stance by opposing the holding of the G20 summit in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Vice President Han Zheng emphasised the unique friendship between China and Pakistan, highlighting the deep and brotherly ties between the people of both countries.

He also stated that Pakistan holds a special place in China's neighbourly diplomacy as a close neighbour and iron brother.

The meeting expressed satisfaction over the ongoing development of CPEC projects, recognizing its significance for Pakistan's socioeconomic progress.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continue working together to achieve common goals and praised the events organized to commemorate the 10th anniversary of CPEC.

They agreed to further deepen cooperation and maintain high-level exchanges between Pakistan and China.

Prime Minister Kakar extended an invitation to Chinese Vice President Han Zheng to visit Pakistan, which he accepted.
