PM Shehbaz stresses need for steering country towards economic prosperity
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasised on Friday the need for building peace and brotherhood in the country.
Addressing a ceremony, the premier admitted that the country was facing the economic hardships, adding that his government had done all it can to pull the country out of the economic quagmire.
He further said that a skyrocketing increase in oil prices was being seen in the global market.
PM Shehbaz stressed the need for steering the country towards the economic prosperity and rid it of debt.
The premier also underscored the need for utilising all the available resources to pave the way for strengthening the country's economy.

PM Shehbaz praised the Islamic scholar Pir Syed Riaz Hussain Shah, saying, "The services of Pir Syed Riaz Hussain Shah for Islam are very significant. The respect for scholars is essential to achieving success in life and hereafter".
Separately, the prime minister approved today the appointment of senior bureaucrat Mohammad Cyrus Sajjad Qazi as the foreign secretary.
Sources divulged that Qazi will take charge after the retirement of the incumbent foreign secretary, Asad Majeed Khan. Sources said that Asad Majeed will retire on August 16.
Currently, Qazi holds the position of a senior official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
He also served as Pakistan's Ambassador to Hungary and Turkiye.
