Qazi to take charge after retirement of incumbent foreign secretary
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved on Friday the appointment of senior bureaucrat Mohammad Cyrus Sajjad Qazi as the foreign secretary.
Sources divulged that Qazi will take charge after the retirement of the incumbent foreign secretary, Asad Majeed Khan. Sources said that Asad Majeed will retire on August 16.
Currently, Qazi holds the position of a senior official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
He also served as Pakistan's Ambassador to Hungary and Turkiye.
