PM Shehbaz Sharif declares Pak expatriates asset of the country.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Shraif Thursday said Pakistani expatriates are striving to boost national economy.

Talking to a delegation of prominent Pakistani-American businessmen and entrepreneurs, the Prime Minister said Pakistani expats are not only improving the image of the country in the USA, but are also playing an important role in the economic development of Pakistan.

The delegation members are currently visiting Pakistan and they called on the Prime Minister at the PM House.

The PM said we acknowledge the valuable services of Pakistan expats in this regard. He said the country is full of mineral wealth and has a unique position geographically in the region. He said these all factors make Pakistan a magnet for foreign investors.

The PM told the delegation that newly constituted Special Investment Facilitation Council through a whole-of-the-government approach would also ensure foreign investment in the country. He said this council would provide one window facility to investors

The PM extended an invitation to investors to start projects in the country.

He highlighted that Pakistani expats are the asset of Pakistan. He stressed the need for launching new projects by enhancing links between the people of the USA and Pakistan.

The delegation members briefed the PM on promoting cultural and economic ties between the two countries. They also evinced their keen interest in investing in different projects in Pakistan.
