Shafiq lost his leg 30 years ago in road accident

MAKKAH (Web Desk) - A disabled but enthusiastic Pakistani has landed in Makkah to perform Hajj.

Muhammad Shafiq, 43, with crutches in his hands, is eager to perform Hajj as he said he was determined for all the religious rituals in the holy land.

Shafiq had a bus accident some 30 years ago and lost his one leg. Now, he holds crutches in his both hands to walk. He said he was in Makkah after saving money for years and he was thankful to the Almighty who called him to visit the holy places.

“I am excited to stone the devil myself with the help of my crutches,” Shafiq said, adding that he was counting every minute to reach Arafat where he would perform the main ritual of Hajj.
