Hajj sermon will be translated into 14 languages

MAKKAH (Web Desk) - Sheikh Dr Yousaf bin Muhammad bin Saeed will deliver the Hajj sermon this year. 

The announcement was made by the Saudi presidency for the affairs of two Holy Mosques. Sheikh Dr Mahar Bin Hamd has been appointed as backup Imam. 

The Imam of Hajj is a member of “Veteran Scholars Councils” Of Saudi Arabia. He has served as a professor of faith and contemporary faiths in Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University. 

It merits mention here that Sheikh Yousaf bin Muhammad has also served as chairman of symposium on National Public Education and member of “Mission and Vision”.

He also served as a member of University Examination Research Committee for five years; a member of Scientific research dean Council for five years; a member of University Post Graduate Studies Deanship Council for two years; a member of Supreme council committee on “acknowledging Martyrs sense of Obligation and acknowledging Social Sense of obligation”; and lecturer in Imam Muhammad bin Saud Aziz Islamic University. 

Sheikh Abd al-Rahman bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Sudais, the President of the Holy Affairs, greeted him on his appointment and wished him success.

The Hajj sermon will be translated into 14 languages including Urdu. Eidal Azha will be celebrated in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan on June 28 and 29 respectively. 

Youm-e-Arfa, the main ritual of Hajj, will be performed on June 27 where sermon will be given by Sheikh Yousaf bin Muhammad.
