Religious affairs ministry to refund sacrifice amount to Hajj pilgrims

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has decided to refund Rs55,000 collected as 'animal sacrifice amount' from Hajj pilgrims.
The pilgrims of both regular and sponsorship scheme can receive the amount from their respective banks before their departure to Saudi Arabia for Hajj.
This decision has been made in accordance with the special instructions of Religious Affairs Minister Senator Muhammad Talha Mehmood.
It said the Saudi government-run Qurbani booths would be available near government residences, providing a hassle-free process for purchasing the coupons.
