Dengue: writ filed to exempt Lahore from loadshedding

A writ petition was filed in LHC to declare Lahore exempted from load shedding.

The writ was filed by the petitioner’s counsel Azhar Siddique in which the petitioner was of the view that so many patients had expired in different hospitals due to loadshedding. He also requested the court to declare Lahore exempted from loadshedding.It was also highlighted in the petition that President House, Prime Minister House and CM House were exempt from loadshedding, which is equal to discriminatory treatment.The petitioner requested to the court to seek explanation from the federal government, the chairman WAPDA and LESCO authorities in this regard.
