Khyber: Two cops martyred, one injured in accidental hand grenade blast

Police sources have categorically denied reports of an attack on the police centre.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Two policemen embraced martyrdom while another suffered injuries when a hand grenade accidently exploded in a police centre in Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa late on Thursday night, Dunya News reported.
According to KP police, the grenade exploded in the hand of a police official during a routine checking at the police centre, resulting in martyrdom of two police officials identified as Shah Muhammad and Aslam. DSP Muhammad Nawaz was wounded.
The deceased and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. Police sources have categorically denied reports of an attack on the police centre and said it was an accidental explosion.
