Rangers and police have arrested over 200 suspects from different areas of Karachi.

Rangers cordoned off the Lyari area and arrested more than 100 activist of different religious and political parties. The police arrested six people in a raid on a political party’s office.In another operation, police sealed off a residential building near Jama Cloth and arrested 100 suspects during house to house search.Moreover, Rangers conducted raids in different areas of Landhi and Jackson market Kemari and arrested several suspects. According to sources, these operations have been carried out after the information provided by intelligence agencies.The law enforcement agencies have also recovered large quantity of arms from the arrested persons.The residents of Lyari staged protest against the operation.
