Police showed already arrested men among list of fresh arrests for dual publicity.

The ‘sturdy’ cops aimed at attracting media attention by exaggerating on the arrest list.Special Investigation Unit’s SP Raja Umer, while addressing a news conference, claimed to have arrested an accused of target killings Sanaullah alias Charya. However, the accused in fact was already in police custody.It is interesting to note that the accused was arrested by the Rangers, not by police. And Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan has already confirmed his arrest at a news conference.Charya’s name appeared 42nd in the list police exhibited to the media.
