Imran Khan foresees PML-Q, PTI merger
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said on Friday the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) would merge with the PTI in future.
At a meeting with anchorpersons, he said PML-Q leader Moonis Elahi played an important role [in helping materialise the plan of dissolving the Punjab Assembly]. “The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will also be dissolved after the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly, he said.

He said it would be hard for the PDM to prolong the tenure of the interim government in the province, adding that the new establishment could not afford this. “We were not sure of amassing 186 votes for trust vote in the PA but we ultimately succeeded,” he added.
