Sindh government calls its legal team for response after ECP rejecting its notification
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government in Sindh had called an immediate session of the legal team in view of the decision of Election Commission of Pakistan regarding the local election to take place on January 15.
The government had also directed the chief secretary and secretary local elections to provide a detailed report on this matter.
The legal team will tell the reason behind behind the ECP’s verdict to declare the decision of the provincial government null and void.
The ECP while rejecting the decision of the PPP’s government announced that the local elections would be held on January 15.
