Lahore second, Karachi ranks fourth among world's most polluted cities

Lahore’s atmosphere has been recorded at 268 particulate matters.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Lahore ranked second and Karachi fourth most polluted cities of the world according to the World Air Quality Index s earlier assessment.
Lahore and Karachi’s air was declared unhealthiest by the World Air Quality Index. The amount of pollutants in Karachi’s air is 186 particulate matters whereas the amount of pollutants in Lahore’s atmosphere has been recorded at 268 particulate matters,according to IQAir.
Dhaka has been declared the most polluted city in the world with 338 particulate matters of pollutants.
According to the Air Quality Index classification, pollution from 151 to 200 is injurious to health while more than 301 is threatening.
