Asad Qaiser's meeting with PML-N's Bahwalpur leaders talk of the town

Reports said former MPA Khalid Jajja hosted a dinner for the PTI leader.
BAHAWALPUR (Web Desk) – Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser on Sunday night met former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmakers Khalid Jajja and Saood Majid Chaudhry in Bahwalpur’s Yazman tehsil.
Reports said former MPA Khalid Jajja hosted a dinner for the PTI leader but both politicians did not confirm the development. However, an aide of Mr Chaudhry confirmed that the former senator was present at the meeting which was “just a social gathering of friends”.
Local political circles said the meeting was an important development as Mr Qaiser is considered close to PTI chief Imran Khan and the visit may hint at future political alignment in Yazman. They also pointed out that Tariq Bashir Cheema – arch-rival of Saood Chaudhry - is also now member of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s cabinet, which does not sit well with Mr Chaudhry.
